The prosecutors within the National Anticorruption Directorate – Section for Combating the Offences Assimilated to those of Corruption are conducting investigations in a criminal case related to suspicions regarding the perpetration of corruption and economic offences committed among 2008 - 2009.
On 23 June 2015, following the legal authorizations issued by the competent court, house searches are performed in 11 locations situated in the municipalities of Bucharest and the counties of Teleorman și Prahova, those being in the offices of trade companies or houses of natural persons.
In this case, the prosecutors benefit from the specialized support of the Romanian Intelligence Service and of the Specialized Intervention Brigade of Gendarmerie.
According to the procedural acts performed in this case, we inform you that we will be able to provide further details at the appropriate moment of the investigation.
